Chemical composition

Alloy 400 / UNS N04400 is a nickel-copper alloy with controlled levels of iron, manganese, carbon, silicon and sulfur. Its chemistry supports corrosion resistance in seawater, neutral and alkaline salts, caustic environments and several reducing media.
